At Shoreline Dental, we want to provide our patients with a pleasant, comfortable dental experience. Our friendly staff is highly trained and skilled, and we use the latest in dental technology to optimize your oral health.
Being from Indianapolis, Indiana, I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University while playing football as a defensive lineman in 1974. In 1978, I received a dental degree from Indiana University and moved to Muskegon in October that same year. I started in practice with my mentor Dr. James Hegedus, before opening my own practice from 1983-2010. Selling the practice in 2011 to Infinity Dental has allowed me to enjoy working with my patients without having to worry about day-to-day business operations. With more time on my hands, it has allowed me to enjoy my hobbies of golf, gardening, and cooking a little more. I am married to my wonderful wife Cari. Our family is blessed with 4 daughters and 7 very active grand children. Upon moving to Muskegon, I became involved in the Greater Muskegon Jaycees from 1978 to 1992, being treasurer from 1988 to 1992. Volunteering for over 100 projects including Snowfest, Parties in the Park, Sled dog races, and the Muskegon to Whitehall yacht race. I feel lucky to have a job that is ever changing and challenging. I love dentistry. I have really enjoyed continuing education my entire career. I have been fortunate to be able to attend the United States Dental Institute for 5 years, studying Orthodontics, and the very prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) on a continuing basis since 1998. In 2014 I obtained my fellowship status. Also in 2014, I obtained fellowship status in the International Association of Physiologic Aesthetics ( IAPA). I remain active in the Muskegon, Michigan, Indiana, and Chicago Dental Society’s, American Dental Association, Academy for General Dentistry, International Association for Orthodontics, Cranio-Facial Pain Association and the International Association of Physiologic Aesthetics.
I am originally from Livonia, Michigan and my passion has always been dentistry. I graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I then attended Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where I earned by D.D.S degree. After graduation I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work at Shoreline Dental with my uncle, Dr. Keever. Being from Michigan I’m very excited to continue my career in my home state. When I’m not in the office you will find me at every Michigan State football or basketball game (Go Green!) or out on either the turf or ice playing soccer and hockey.
I do my best to work with your insurance company and figure out co-payments and deductibles to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. I graduated from Oakridge High School in 2008 and attended Baker College. I currently live in Ravenna with my husband and three kids. We are super active with sports as our kids play just about every one imaginable! We also love to be outdoors hunting, fishing, kayaking, and riding our four-wheelers.
I am the appointment coordinator here at Shoreline Dental. I graduated from Oakridge High School and still reside in the district. I am a student of Baker College. When I am not here doing my best to ensure total health and wellness for our patients, I enjoy doing things with my family and friends. My first priority is my family, which includes my pets! Playing sports and enjoying Michigan’s beautiful outdoors, especially our bodies of water, are a must for us.
I received my CDA from Thompson Technology in West Olive MI in 2006. From there, I started my journey in community health, which continued there for four years. Then, I moved on to private practice from 010 – present. My passion for assisting is strong, and I am always striving for perfection in this lucrative, but very rewarding career. My life would not be complete without my three amazing boys, husband of eight years, and our family rescue pet Bella!
I graduated from the Daytona State College Dental Hygiene program in 2010. My favorite part about being a hygienist and working at Shoreline Dental is being able to educate my patients and make them feel good about their smiles! Born and raised in central Florida, I now live in Whitehall, MI with my husband, son, and another little one on the way. In my free time, I enjoy painting, reading, and hanging out with my family as much as possible!
I graduated from Muskegon Community College and Ferris State University with a degree in Dental Hygiene, including a certification in local anesthesia. I have been a registered Dental Hygienist since 1997 and part of the Shoreline family for almost a year. I have two wonderful sons that keep me busy, and love golfing, traveling and being outdoors. One of my favorite parts about being a dental hygienist is being able to build relationships with my patients while actively working towards making them feel healthier and happier through patient education and the connection between oral and systemic health.
I was born and raised in West Michigan, and received my Dental Hygiene degree from Ferris Sate University. I love my job and find it extremely rewarding when I am able to educate patients and give them the knowledge they need in order for them to have healthy and confident smiles. My fiancé and I are currently planning an August 2017 wedding. We both enjoy going to the gym and checking out different breweries and restaurants in West Michigan.
I am a graduate of Baker College in Muskegon, and received my Dental Assistant Certification from Thompson Technology in 2015. I enjoy working in the dental field, because of the fulfillment I find in caring for, educating and maintaining relationships with patients. I also enjoy being able to grow and learn every day. I have been with my spouse for 20 years—since we were teenagers! I have three beautiful boys, ages 16, 13, and seven that keep me busy, along with many friends of theirs that I claim as mine. My fourth "boy" is a cat named KiKi that chose us to be his family. I enjoy spending time outdoors, watching my boys play sports, golfing, and time in the sun!
I grew up in Muskegon, Michigan, and I received my certificate in the Dental Assistant program from Everest College in 2008. I started out in public health in 2008 and recently joined the team in May of 2016. I chose dentistry because I enjoy giving patients their smile back. When patients leave happy, I am happy too. When I am not working, I spend my free time with my son. He is very active and into every sport. My favorite sport to watch him play is baseball. He keeps me young! In the summer time we spend a lot of time at the beach, and love enjoying the beautiful lakeshore Michigan has to offer.
